SDD B2B — Business-to-Business Direct Debit
What is SDD B2B (SEPA Direct Debit Business-to-Business)? The business-to-business direct debit scheme and how it differs from SDD Core.

Updated:
SDD B2B (SEPA Direct Debit Business-to-Business) is a direct debit scheme designed exclusively for business-to-business collections. It is based on the same logic as SDD Core but includes differences specific to the business world.
Differences from SDD Core
- No refund right: The debtor company generally cannot request a refund for an authorised collection. For this reason, mandate verification is stricter.
- Legal entities only: The debtor cannot be a consumer.
- Bank approval: The debtor’s bank verifies the mandate details in advance.
When is it used?
It is suitable for regular supplier payments, corporate subscriptions and recurring business-to-business collections.
Because the B2B scheme has no refund right, managing mandates correctly becomes critical.
