What we do
We focus on three things: (1) tracking Turkey's SEPA process in a sourced and up-to-date manner, (2) offering free financial tools that genuinely work and run entirely in your browser, (3) explaining SEPA/IBAN/BIC topics in plain, accurate language.

Responsible editor and data controller
The site owner, responsible editor and technical data controller is İbrahim Yeşilay. Ultimate responsibility for content accuracy, source selection, the calculation logic of the tools and privacy practices rests with him.
Editorial process and accuracy
- Accuracy comes before everything. We do not fabricate uncertain information; we clearly mark any field that cannot be verified as "Not verified".
- Every claim is sourced. For each claim about a bank, country, fee or scheme we keep a source, a source date, a last-checked date and a confidence level (A–E). For detail: Methodology.
- Field-level verification. We do not give a single note to a whole bank profile; each data field (scheme participation, fee, cut-off, API…) carries its own confidence level.
- YMYL discipline. In financial content we use "may / based on indications / not verified" language, and we do not make definitive statements without definitive data.
Editorial independence and conflicts of interest
- SEPA.tr is not operated or endorsed by any bank, payment institution or financial company.
- We do not accept payment, sponsorship or placement fees from banks/financial institutions for our content. Rankings, recommendations or an "approved" label are not for sale.
- There are currently no affiliate links and no advertising on the site. Should this change in the future, it will be clearly stated in the relevant content.
- Assessments are based on publicly available official sources and verified data, not on any commercial relationship.
Use of artificial intelligence
In producing content and tools, we may make use of artificial-intelligence tools for drafting, editing and data processing. However, every published financial/legal claim is reviewed by a human editor and verified against real, primary sources; information that cannot be verified is marked "Not verified" or is not published.
Corrections and suggesting sources
If you have spotted an error or wish to suggest a better primary source, write to info@sepa.tr. Please include the page address and, where possible, the official source; we make corrections traceable in our change log.
Privacy
Tools that work with sensitive inputs such as IBAN, BIC and amount run entirely in your browser; this data is not sent to a server, not logged and not passed to analytics. For detail: Privacy.
