What does this tool show?
The result shows which SEPA schemes an institution is registered for in the European Payments Council (EPC) Register of Participants: SCT (SEPA Credit Transfer), SCT Inst (Instant), SDD Core / SDD B2B (Direct Debit) and VoP (Verification of Payee).
Data source and currency
The data is compiled from the EPC's monthly official participant records (the BIC is for reference only; it does not prove an account exists). Because Turkey is not yet a SEPA member, Turkish banks do not appear in this register.
How to use it
- Type part of the bank name (e.g. "sparkasse", "revolut") — word order does not matter.
- Enter a BIC (e.g. NTSBDEB1XXX) — an exact match rises to the top.
- In the country box, enter the EPC's English country name (e.g. GERMANY, FRANCE).
